'New' Sewing Room

I think I'm finally moved into my 'new' sewing room. I took all of my sewing things out of our bedroom and moved them into JoAnna's old bedroom. I can't believe how much 'stuff' I have!! JoAnna's room is already looking small. Maybe that'll keep me from buying more material?? Ya Right!! The alcove in our room is looking very bare right now!

Our Saturday Sewing Society

Last month there were 10 of us at our Saturday Sewing Society get-together and there were only 7 of us this month. Some were away and a couple were sick. We all had a good time. Joan was cutting out fleece jackets for a bazaar. Jean was putting a zipper in a child's sweater that she had knitted. Adele had several projects going. We all worked on our projects. We love to sew, share ideas and projects and eat, of course. It was a nice day. The food was good too!

Cypress Gardens, Florida

When Suzanne and I were at Cypress Gardens in January, she took some pictures. The poinsettia's were gorgeous! The topiaries there were unbelievable, especially the cardinal and the swan. There was also a group of 2 men and 2 women singing the 50's song. We both enjoyed that! We also enjoyed the water-skiing show! It was a fun day and the weather was outstanding.

New Dinning Table in Florida!

While in Florida, Claudia and I went shopping in St. Cloud. I saw this table and liked it. We've had our table for 20 years and the chairs were starting to get very rickety. I like the way this table looks in our house.

New Member of our Clan!

This is our newest grandniece: Anna Lynn Scherzer. Welcome to our clan. She was born to my niece, Dawn, on Jan. 31, 2008. This is Bob's first grandchild. Isn't she beautiful! I made a quilt just for her.
