Turtle in JoAnna's Yard!
JoAnna and Kenny saw a turtle in their yard last evening. Both cats got the scent of it and had to check it out. The turtle decides to leave with all of us and the cats looking at it.

That is one nasty snapping turtle. Don't let the pussycats fool with them. They are everywhere around here this time of year, crossing the roads to lay their eggs and then going back to the ponds again. Some of them make it and some don't. The little ones are cute, but some of them are huge. These snappers are interesting, but ugly and they are dangerous, so stay away!
