First Snow Storm of Winter!

We got our first measurable snow yesterday and last night. We've had a couple of days earlier in the month with a little dusting, but this was quite the storm and we may be in for more!!! I took these pictures last night looking out from our family room. The light gives it an orange glow. It almost looks like there was a fire in the back, but there wasn't. We only had about 3 or 4 inches of snow then and we got, at least, 4 or 5 more during the night. George was called out on the state Sun night and worked all night, all day yesterday until 10:30 last night. He was back out at 4:45 this morning. He needs more rest than that! We're not spring chickens any more. I do hope some of the snow stays around for Christmas!
