Merry Christmas!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Doesn't it look like we sure did?? Do you think there are enough presents? It was a great day. George is going to look at that computer no matter what! The ocean was even calm. This was taken at the windmill early in the morning. We are so fortunate to live near the ocean.

Sad day for John, Robin and the Family
My nephew, John, his wife Robin, and their 3 children lost their house on Tues, December 12th to a devastating fire. Their 3 children are 7, 5, and 16 months. Thankfully, they weren't home at the time. Robin was home, but got out safely. My heart breaks for them, especially at this time of year. They have had an outpouring of love and support. Their church has already given them some money and others have offered help in many ways. The 7 year old has taken it quite hard! Material things mean so much to children. Say a prayer for this family.

Christmas Party for Quilt Group!
We had our Christmas party at the Riverway restaurant on Thursday night and we all had a great time. There was a table as we entered that had secret sister gifts, hats for babies that women in our group had crocheted or knitted, and placecards made from Christmas material. Janice, our outgoing president, got a lovely gift of a bag that Maureen had made and embroidered. Our entertainment was the Soundwaves, an a capella singing group, They were very good and very entertaining. We all joined in with the Tweleve Days of Christmas!
