Relay for Life Cancer Walk!

I made this quilt and it's dedicated to my two sisters, Karen and Carleen, who have both passed away from cancer. I'm going to be in the Relay for Life Cancer Walk at D-Y High School June 18th and June 19th. I'm selling raffle tickets for $5.00 each and I'll give all the money to the American Cancer Society. Last year I raised almost $400.00. Help me raise more than that this year!!

At The Pool!

It's good to be back home, but it was also nice sitting by the pool at the Las Vegas Hilton! Feel the warmth!

Vegas!

Just wanted to show some things in Vegas other than gambling. George's cousin took me to a quilt shop. George and I took a ride out by Lake Mead. Also, saw some beautiful wild flowers that look like orchid.

Sight from Plane!

This was the sight that we could see from the window of our plane. Just coming from my sister's funeral, this was more than I wanted to see at the time. I thought it was a soldier from Iraq or Afghanistan. As it turned out, it was an MIA from WWII that was discovered in Germany and they were returning him to Arlington, MA. It was quite an emotional site. The top picture is his remains being put into the plane in Atlanta, GA and the second picture is his remains being put into the hearse in Boston, MA. We couldn't get our luggage until his remains were taken off the plane.
