Baby Shower on Saturday!

Erin and I went to a baby shower in Worcester on Saturday. Kerri came to the trailer park every summer for many years. She and Erin became friends. She's having a baby boy in April. Erin made a 'diaper cake' and I made a quilt. It was a very nice shower. Love the football at the top of the cake.

Quilts from Saturday Sewing Society

A group of us get together once a month at the Senior Center in Brewster. We call it the Saturday Sewing Society! We work on whatever, and share our quilts and ideas. These were 3 of the ones that people brought in to show. The first two are Peg's and the third one is Nancy's. All very different but pretty.

Detonating Bomb at West Dennis Beach!

A man found a bomb from WWII in his father's shed. The bomb squad thought it would be best to detonate it at West Dennis Beach. Kenny and company were working nearby with a loader. They were asked to dig a trench for the bomb and then to cover the trench up after the bomb had gone off. They thought it was quite interesting and a very large bang!

I Like This Woman's Attitude!!

It's hard to read but it says that a 93 yr old woman was stopped by a State Trooper for speeding. When she passed him her license he noticed a Conceal Carry Permit. When asked if she had a weapon, she responded that she did indeed. She told him she had a .45 automatic in the glove compartment, a 9 mm Glock in her console, and a .38 special in her purse. When asked what she was so afraid of. She looked him in the eye and responded "Not a f---ing Thing"!!

Which One?

A woman in our guild is having a fund raiser to raise money for her grandson to have experimental treatment. I told her I'd give her a quilt to raffle off. I'm giving her a choice from these two quilts. Which one do you think she'll choose??
