Venice and Maggie!

Let's check in with Venice and Maggie and see what they are up to! What's this? They have a new 'sister'. That's right, Marie, has joined the family. She was found abandoned in Bridgewater. How could anyone do that? Phoebe was only going to 'foster' Marie. But, of course, she fell in love with her and she and Jerry adopted her. She's a cutie!! The three of them are at a Halloween bash in their costumes.

Hot Air Balloon

This is the 'hot air' balloon that Sue and I worked so hard making for our festival float. She cut out all the pieces and sewed them into strips and then I put them together carefully matching the seams. The material was too heavy to 'float'. We were so disappointed because it came out so pretty and we wanted everyone to see it. Oh well, there is always next year's float!

30th Seaside Festival!

Our grand marshall was NASA Astronaut, Daniel Burbank. He was so cordial with everyone, especially children. The parade went well. JoAnna's float, which George pulled, won best overall. The canoe and kayak race went off well. The weather was glorious all three days.
