News from our Saturday Sewing Society - 2/21/09!

On the top is Joan's tulip bag that she made in 2 1/2 hrs. Very pretty! We enjoyed our homemade soup that Jan brought in! Then Suze's quilt. Very nice! The bottom wallhanging I made and I'm donating to a benefit for Bobby J. He's a Harwich firefighter and just had his second operation for a brain tumor and his expenses are enormous, so his firefighter buddies are giving a benefit next Sat to help defray his expenses!

The top picture is a close up of the quilting on the one below it. Adele's mother made this quilt and machine quilted it herself -she's 85! Another of Sunny's beautiful quilts. Also, Cecilia's tree of life quilt--beautiful!

Snowy Day on Tuesday!

It snowed all day Tuesday. We only got about 4 or 5 inches, but it snowed all day long. I stayed inside and sewed most of the day.
