Sally and Jim's Wedding

Went to Sally and Jim's wedding on Sat. For some reason, my camera was acting up and the pictures came out dark. Her dress was gorgeous. The reception was at the Gull Wing and was very nice.

Quilt Raffle

I collected $890.00 from the quilt raffle and gave it to the American Cancer Society on Saturday. Last year I turned in $395.00 and I wanted to beat that amount. So that way surpassed my expectations!! Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket. It's a good cause. The quilt was won by Meg from IFAW! Enjoy

More of Visit to Mike, Tamara and Family

We had a nice visit with the family. Alison knitted a vest for Jacob. It'll be a while before he can wear it, but it's adorable. Hannah was very shy at first and had to stay close to Daddy. Then she sat in her chair with the quilt I made her when she was a baby. It didn't take her too long to get over her shyness to open the present I brought her. It's in front of her on the floor. It's a small purse with a lamb in it.

Our New Grand Nephew!

Here's Jacob Nelson Rodrigues!! He was born May 23rd, weighing 7lbs 7 ozs. He is Mike and Tamara's son. They live in MD. They also have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter named Hannah. They are 2 cuties!!
Mike is my sister, Karen's, son.

Quilt Guild - June 3, 2010

We had a pot luck dinner before our meeting. Everything was very good. The quilts were wonderful as usual. We have Jan's Trip Around the World quilt. Then there is Millie's beach scene and Luanne's quilt for her niece! Great!! Also, I'm over the $500.00 mark for my raffle quilt! Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket or made a donation.
