Linus Project!

Last Sat a group of us went to St. Joan of Arc Church in Orleans and worked on quilts for the Linus Project. These quilts will be given to children in need. It was held on Fri and Sat this year. It's a lot of work but rewarding. The picture of the elephants and birdhouses were given to the project to be made into a quilts. The first picture is of finished quilts on the back of the chairs! I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the finished quilts myself, so I stole this picture from Katy.

Happy Valentine's Day!

My wonderful husband had these delivered to the house. They arrived on Sat. The buds weren't out and he didn't think they looked very pretty. I thought they were very pretty. They really popped today and look beautiful! The vase is pretty with red hearts on them! Thanks George. I also got the teddy bear and bath salts!!

I'm late getting these posted. Tonight is quilt guild again, so I'll have more. They are all pretty. The top one is a sample of one that the guild would like to make on their own. Tricia's is in the middle and Sunny's is on the bottom. Well done!!

Quilt For Raffle at Quilt Show!

This is the quilt that Bayberry Quilters have made for the quilt raffle this Aug. Several members have worked on it. The second picture shows a close up of the bridges that are all made with thread! It doesn't have borders and it isn't quilted yet, but it's gorgeous and very different! It's a large wallhanging and don't know where I'd put it if I won i,t but I'd find space somewhere. I'll have tickets for it later on and will let everyone know when they can purchase them!
