These are three wallhangings from the festival. I like all of these. The trees are neat--don't know how they were made--got to learn. I really love the cat. Reminds me of our Simon that we had a few years ago!

More beautiful quilts. Love the purple one. The one with the flowers almost looks 3D. That's all hand appliqued! I also like the one that looks like white irises. It's amazing how many quilts there are out there!

Florida!

Bob made me this scissors holder. He made it on his cruise to Hawaii!! Very nice, Bob! He says the scissors are very sharp. Can't take them on the plane with me because I only have a carry on. I think this quilt goes nice with the colors in our living room here. I like it a lot. (I actually bought it but don't tell anyone)!!!

Peg and I went to a quilt show in Needham last week. It was small but there were some beautiful quilts! I like the wallhangings of the landscape quilts--very pretty! I also like this baby quilt of trucks and equipment!

The first one is one that Carlyn made. It's a 3 D picture made from cloth. Very interesting. She made it for her son. The middle one is called 'What Knot'. I like this one a lot. The bottom one is made mostly from material and a few shells. It's like the 'Sailors Valentine' that are completely made from shells. Very pretty! We're off to Florida this afternoon. It's April Fools today--no crazy pilots or flight attendants please!!
