The top one is Marie's. It was accepted into the Lowell Quilt Museum and will hang there for a few weeks. Good job, Marie! The other picture is from her class. She helped someone else make this. I just love it. I want to sit in one of those chairs and just relax!

Carleen's birthday!

Today would have been our sister, Carleen's, birthday! She would have been 52 today. RIP Carleen. It's hard to believe you've been gone for 2 years!!

The top one is very interesting. Not sure if I like it or not. I like the sky and the palm tree but not sure about how she did the water?? Sunny's fish quilt is cute. Joan's leaf is very different. She sells things at the farmers market so she thought she'd make up a bunch and display them with wrapped candy or something in them and see if they'd sell.

New Kitchen!

The kitchen is done! Yay!! I think it came out great. Some day I'd like a new stainless stove to match everything but other than that it's complete. I really like the backsplash and the sink and faucet! The plumber comes tomorrow to connect the bathroom sink and, hopefully, it'll be done!
