Happy Thanksgiving!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a great time with Alison, Scott, and Lena. Erin and Denim were able to join us in Maryland this year. Scott's father and brother (the Two George's) were also there. The food was good and we had a good time with Lena. She loved snuggling on the floor with Erin. She loved Uncle George's water bottles! That's the latest game!!

More From PA!
A farmer is using 6 mules to plow the field. It must be heavy work to have 6 mules. In November they have their weddings on either a Tue. or a Thu. They might have as many as 450 guests. You'll pass a farm with hundreds of buggies and you know a wedding is going on. It's always in their house or barn. They take of their farms and acreage so well. The have beautiful horses and buggies.

Trip to Amish Country--PA!
A bunch of us quilters took a bus trip to Lancaster, PA from Nov 5th to Nov 9th. We had a great time. We saw a lot of Amish. We stayed in a hotel, but ate with a different Amish family every night. Very interesting. A few nights the family also ate with us and that was very nice. At one home 5 young girls sang to us. Their farms are impeccable. We really enjoyed the trip.

Quilts from Quilters Gathering in New Hampshire
These are some of the amazing quilts from the Quilter's Gathering in New Hampshire. It's a quilt show with lots and lots of vendors. We took a day bus trip there on Thursday. We had a great time. The second quilt is all done in threads. It was out of this world up close. The Japanese one was beautiful too.
