After Christmas!

We gave Lena a ride on train.  She did good with it.  It'll be great at home in their yard this spring.

Merry Christmas!

This was Lena's first Christmas (2011) and she just couldn't wait for Santa!  So cute.  She's so big now!  I'll be like Lena and won't be able to stay up for Santa either this year--very busy and very tired.  So, as I'll be quite busy tomorrow, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Lena loves to be outside and doesn't care how cold it is.  I got her that snowsuit last Christmas and it looked so big. She sure has grown into it!!

Full Moon!

This is what I saw at 4:30 last evening as I took my walk along Bass River.  Unfortunately, the picture doesn't do it justice.  It looks more like the sun to me than the moon.  It was so quiet and so peaceful and the moon was so bright.  Gorgeous!

Helping Collect for Food Pantry!

Most people didn't even know that was me yesterday.  I was helping with the Yarmouth Food Pantry outside of Stop & Shop in So. Yarmouth.  I'm a member of  CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) and this is a jacket that was given to us.  Nice and warm.  Wish I could say the same for my feet and hands.  A woman did bring us a bunch of hand warmers and that helped.  It was fun, but glad to get back home to the warmth of my living room!!

Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  We did.  We went to our daughter's and son-in-laws's in Maryland  with Lena, of course.  Grandpa George Parello and Uncle George Parello were there too. Lots of Georges!!  On Friday we took a train trip from Cumberland, MD to Frostburg, MD about an hour and 1/2 ride.  Fun!  Santa was on the train and Lena loved it.  George Watson did too!!  haha.  The following day, Daddy and the two Georges took her to Bear Creek while Mommy sewed and we came back home.  Looks like she enjoyed that too!
