More from River River Cruise
This map was on our bed when we entered our room. It explained the cruise. To drive it would only be about 3 1/2 hrs, but on the water it's 522 miles and there are many twists and turns and locks.
We got to tour Fort Campbell. We were going to eat with the soldiers, but it took so long to check us in through the gate that all the soldiers had finished. This is the tray that they use. The are known as the 'Screaming Eagles'! The bottom picture is set up for a race that was to take place the following day. Each boot symbolizes a soldier who had died in the past few years. Very moving!

Trip to PA/Amish Country
We traveled through Intercourse, PA many times in our travels. They have great quilt shop and gift shops.
Rachel was our guide one day. She is formerly Amish and is now Mennonite. They had a falling out with their Bishop. She was wonderful and very informative. She's explaining how an Amish wedding would take place. Always in the home.
Here she is with our organizer, Deb, on the left, and her aunt Ginny. Great trip!!
